Ravi Menon
Managing Director, Monetary Authority of Singapore



Ravi Menon is Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the country's central bank and financial regulatory body. He was named to this post in April 2011.

Before that, he served as permanent secretary in the the Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI) and as deputy secretary at the Ministry of Finance (MOF).

Mr. Menon earned his bachelor's degree in economics at the National University of Singapore and master's degree in public administration at Harvard University.
