Jeff Matsu is New York-based economist with Morgan Stanley. He is primarily responsible for covering global macroeconomic trends, with a particular focus on developments in the Asia-Pacific region.
Previously, Jeff spent three years with the Federal Reserve Board, where he conducted research on international capital markets.
Prior to that, he served as an economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis in Washington, DC. He was also a research scholar at Osaka University and Kyushu University in Japan.
Jeff holds an M.A. in economics from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. from the University of Washington.
