Murasoli Moran

India’s Minister for Commerce and Industry

Murasoli Maran is a distinguished Journalist and politician of India. His record of public service spans over four decades.

He was a Member of Parliament for the past 35 years and has also experience as the Union Cabinet Minister of Urban Development (1989-90) and the Union Industry Minister (1996-98).

Since 1999, he has served as the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry.

He was the chief negotiator of India in the Seattle and Doha Ministerial Conferences of WTO.
