Christina Erb

Freelance Journalist

Christina Erb is a freelance journalist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She previously worked as a business reporter for the Corridor Business Journal and as a reporter for the Gazette, the Des Moines Register and the Daily Iowan.

In 2007, the Small Business Administration selected her as the best small business journalist of 2006 for Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas.

She studied journalism and political science at the University of Iowa and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2005. While there, she received two prestigious scholarships: the Harry S. Bunker Memorial and the Laurence Fairall Scholarships.

Her passion to see and understand other parts of the world led her to travel to and report from Israel and the Palestinian territories in 2005 and Athens in 2006.
