Jianxiong Zhang

Professor and Senior Researcher, Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS)

Jianxiong Zhang is a senior researcher and professor at the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

Prof. Zhang is a council member of the Chinese Society of World Economy, Deputy General-Secretary of the Chinese Society for European Union Studies, and Chairman of the Chinese Society for Benelux Studies.

He has taught at other universities including the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussee in Paris, the University of Liverpool, the University of Maastricht, the European Community Studies Association in Brussels, the University of Bonn, the University of Valencia, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Prof. Zhang has had numerous publications like "Collapsing Yellow Land" (Xueyuan Publishing House), "The Netherlands: Society, Politics and Economy" (Shekewenxian Publishing House) and "An Outline of EU Economic Policies" (Shehui Kexue Publishing House). He has collectively or co-authored other books and numerous articles.

He was educated in the University of Beijing and the Graduate School, CASS.
