CEO of Deutsche Umwelthilfe and board chair of Ecologic Institute

Sascha Müller-Kraenner is CEO of Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH), one of Germany’s leading environmental organizations. He is also the board chair of Ecologic Institute, an applied environmental research think tank.

Previously, from 2007 to 2014, Sascha established and led The Nature Conservancy’s regional program in Europe.

Prior to that, after serving as Director of the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s office in Washington, D.C. between 1998 to 2002,  he served as the Berlin-based foundation’s Director for Europe and North America as well as head of the foundation’s program on foreign and security policy (2003 to 2006).
