Soubhik Ronnie Saha is a New York-based special assistant in the executive office of the International Rescue Committee. The leading organization works in 25 countries to provide relief, rehabilitation and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression and violent conflict.
Previously, Mr. Saha worked as a research assistant to Hotel Rwanda film director and screenwriter, Terry George. With Mr. George, he co-founded the International Fund for Rwanda through the United Nations Foundation, to support UN Development Program projects in Rwanda.
In 2001, Mr. Saha received a Freeman Foundation ASIANetwork Fellowship to examine religious communalism and comparative politics in Kolkata, India.
He holds a BA in Religious Studies and English from Kenyon College.
